Text Messaging Terms

These terms apply to the Construum Text Assistant, a text messaging program for Construum account holders. They are part of Construum's Terms of Service.

Program description

The Construum Text Assistant lets a contractor with a Construum account text Construum to get information about their own account and to prepare drafts for review. Messages include:

• the verification code that connects your phone to your account, and a confirmation once it's connected;
• answers to your questions about your projects, schedules and client balances;
• confirmation prompts before a task or change order draft is created;
• confirmations when you text a receipt photo and a receipt draft is saved for review; and
• help and opt out confirmations.

This is not a marketing program. We do not send promotional messages through it.

How to enroll

Only a contractor or administrator signed in to their own Construum account can enroll. In the Construum app:

1. Open Settings, then Text Assistant.
2. Enter your mobile phone number.
3. Check the box agreeing to receive recurring operational SMS and MMS messages from Construum at that number. The box is unchecked until you check it.
4. Select Send Linking Text.
5. Reply LINK and the six digit code we text you, within 10 minutes, to confirm you control the phone.

Your phone isn't connected until the code comes back from it. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Most messages are replies to what you text us, so how often you hear from us depends on how often you use the Text Assistant.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Construum does not charge for the messages.

How to opt out

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You can also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT. We will send one message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and then no more. To start again, reply START.

Your phone number

You agree that the phone number you enroll is yours or one you are authorized to use. Tell us, or reply STOP, before you give up or transfer the number.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery isn't guaranteed. Supported carriers include major US carriers; service may not be available on every carrier or plan.

Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the information in your messages.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date, and if a change affects how messages are sent to you, we will tell you by text or email before it takes effect.
